I'm sure by now that you are all well aware who Tim Tebow is. He has been in the news a lot lately as he has become the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos. He is one of my favorite players. I am not one of those band wagon people either. I have legitimately liked him since he played in college for the Florida Gators. Today was his first playoff game. My mom and I were watching football as we do together everyday Sunday that I am home. Although this Sunday was a little different. We normally watch the Bears, but unfortunately they did not make the playoffs... sad day. Luckily my other favorite team did. The game started off pretty slow, but the second quarter the Broncos began to take control. Tim started working his magic and even ran in for a touchdown. I was pretty happy with his performance. The second half proved to be the exact opposite and the Steelers tied it to force over time. I was so nervous! Although the first play proved to be all the Broncos needed to win the game. To say I was excited was an understatement! It was awesome game to say the least.
I am also currently reading Tim's book which I got for Christmas (Thanks Mom!). It is a pretty good read although I am only about half way through. Next week will be a rough week for the Broncos as they face the Patriots. Everyone thought that this game was a long shot for them too so anything is possible :) I look forward to getting to watch him at least one more time. He plays with so much heart and his love for the Lord is simply inspirational. Oh I almost forgot to mention were getting married someday ;) Well at least I can dream anyway!
As Tim says: GB^2= God Bless + Go Broncos!
