The picture taking options were way less than ideal. But so happy to see this gem!

This has been another good month so far. I was able to meet up with one of my favorite people Lisa to have dinner. I was so excited when she asked me to meet her halfway. Not seeing her for that extended period of time was not ideal. We meet at a place called the Northwoods. I had never been there and we were welcomed by Christmas lights still in full swing. We had quite the waiter. After he brought us our food, he informed us that that it normally when it seems to quiet down at the table. Not for us though. We spent the good part of 3 hours catching up on each others lives. It was a fantastic way to spend a Friday night thats forsure! Lisa has been such a blessing and encouragement to me over the time that I have known her. She has quickly become one of my best friends. I miss running together everyday and being able to walk down to her room anytime I want. Lisa is such a strong woman of God and I have loved the fun things that I have gotten to do with her in Illinois and Iowa. 

Of course February also brings Valentine's Day. I was able to celebrate with the students at my school along with getting to visit the students that I student taught. It felt so natural to be back in the classroom with the students that I had gotten to know so well.  I loved the surprised looks on their face as they saw me and all the hugs and loved I received while I was there. Those kids will always hold a special place in my heart. 

Since I had a half day Kristen and I were also able to enjoy a lunch date together at Olive Garden. Talk about a win. Soup, salad, breadsticks, peach iced tea, fantastic conversation, and a lovely waitress. After that we spent the rest of the day watching movies, talking (complaining) about our lack of love life, and eating to much chocolate. And what's a better way then to end the day with Dairy Queen. I wouldn't say to much. On this day I was also reminded of all the love that my family, friends, and most importantly Savior has for me. I can not thank him enough for the love he has shown me over the years. 

As I continue on in this month I continue to apply and pray about the opportunity of a teaching job next year. I know that God has something great in store for me in the following year. Please continue to pray that I would seek him in everything and He would give me the words to say on my applications and in interviews :)
