It is now May! I cannot believe it. This year has seriously flown by. Seems like just last summer I was packing up all my stuff to head back to Trin and 9 days I will be headed home for summer. Just like every other child I look forward to summer as it comes closer. Although now that I'm all "grown up" summer is different than it used to be. Instead of hanging out with my cousins, staying at Kristen's for days at a time, and being carefree I will have many responsibilities this summer. I will be working full time for my first summer and taking a summer class. As much as I would love to lay in the sun everyday I know that I would get extremely bored if I had nothing going on. I am not looking forward to getting up before 7am everyday, but I am grateful to have a job to come back to. This summer I will be doing something completely new which is exciting and scary at the same time. I get to work outside which is a definite plus, but I will be working with a completely new group of people. Hopefully I will get invited to some cook outs on Fridays at FC to see all my old co-workers. I will especially miss seeing Emilly everyday and laughing with the ladies in the kitchen. With all the grown up activities I will have going on I still plan to have a lot of fun! I am going to a country concert with my cousins, and many nights will still be spent at Kristen's house in the pool. Spending time with my family is also something I am looking forward to.
But before I can start on all my summer activities I still have to take finals. I still have many hours of studying to do and many hard goodbyes to say. So to all my fellow Trolls finish strong. We can do this! Even though it may seem overwhelming now think of how much you have already accomplished and how little you have left. In a matter of a few short classes we will officially be halfway done! Woot woot! Here we come real world!
In case you are in need of a good laugh though all the madness :)
Good luck!
