This weekend I had the privilege to visit my cousin Kailey who attends Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids. Her sister Tiff was visiting also. I have to say that these girls are two of my favorite people. We have grown up together and have a special cousinly bond. (yeah cousinly is a word now) Over the years we have had our ups and downs with one another, but I have to say that they are two of the people I always look forward to seeing and spending time with when we are home.
Mostly we just hung out a lot, laughed a lot, and told really good jokes. We hit up Krispy Kreme for two free doughnuts. The hot light is definitely our friend. Kailey and I attempted to explore downtown, but ended up just driving around for along time. That's okay it was fun to see everything and get some great chatting in while Matt and Tiff enjoyed their date. Sunday we went to church and basically spend the rest of the afternoon napping and watching football. It was so fun and relaxing and exactly what I needed before the end of the semester stress.
Overall it was awesome getting to hang out with these two and even more awesome to know I will be seeing them this weekend again. I love Michigan and will be making many more trips up that way.
